Additional Driver
All additional drivers must meet all rental requirements. Additional drivers can be added at the Tallinn airport location at any time during the rental. An additional driver fee of 39.65 (incl. VAT) per 30 day rental period applies.
After Hours Service
After hours pickups- are available at this location. Advance notice of 24 hours applies. There is no after-hours fee. After hour returns- Customers should return the rental car to the rental car parking at Tallinn Airport. Car keys and documents should be dropped into the key-box located at the in Terminal rental counter office.
Age Requirements
All renters and additional drivers must be 19 or older. The young driver fee for drivers between the ages of 19 and 20 is 3.50 EUR per day plus VAT for all car groups. Maximum driving age is 75.
Cross Border Policy
Outside of Estonia, vehicles can be driven in Latvia, Lithuania, Finland and Poland only. A cross-border fee of 88.45 EUR (incl. VAT) per border will apply to all authorized countries and territories. In all cases, customers must inform the rental branch of their intention to leave the country with the vehicle. Unauthorized cross-border travel will result in a breach of contract and incur a penalty charge of 1200 EUR. If the rental vehicle is dropped outside of Estonia without prior authorization the customer will be liable for all costs associated with recovering the car in addition to the 1200 EUR penalty fee. Please note for cross border travel to Finland and Poland, customers are required to inform the branch prior to arrival or at time of pick up as additional fees and restrictions apply for these countries. For more information customers are invited to contact the rental branch on +3725166261. Depending on the time of year, cross border travel to Poland may be limited due to Polish winter tyre laws.
Damage Waiver
Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) reduces the liability of the renter in the event of damage to the bodywork of the vehicle. If CDW is not included in the reservation, the renter has liability up to the full market value of the vehicle. If not included in the booking, CDW is available for purchase. If included in the reservation or purchased, the excess amount is 1100 EUR for all vehicle classes. Excess will be charged every time a vehicle is damaged. CDW is not insurance.
Damage Waiver Exclusions/Voids
Collision Damage Waiver does not cover theft or damage caused by attempted theft of the rental vehicle. CDW does not cover damage to rims, wheel covers, windshield, tires, interior damage, roof damage, undercarriage damage, damages caused by sand, gravel, ash, pumice, or other kinds of earth material, damage from riots or civil unrest, damage from dangerous substances, damage caused by the use of the wrong fuel or any failure to take all reasonable measures to look after the vehicle keys or any other device which unlocks the vehicle and/or enables the vehicle to be started.
Collision Damage Waiver will be voided if damage is caused by: failure to secure the vehicle keys, failure to lock the vehicle, unauthorized repairs on the vehicle, use by an unauthorized driver, use by an unlicensed driver, use for hire and reward, use of vehicle for any illegal purpose or deliberately causing injury or damage to property, racing, pacemaking, teaching someone to drive, use whilst under the influence of alcohol or drugs, use of the vehicle outside of the country without our permission, overloaded with more passengers than seatbelts, towing, use off road, transporting dangerous or noxious substances, willful or wanton negligence.
One Way Drop Policy
All rentals where the vehicle is not returned to the same location as it was collected from will be subject to a one-way fee. This one-way fee varies based on car category, location, and pick-up date. The exact amount of the one-way fee will be displayed during the reservation process when entering the dates, the desired route, and car category.
Exclusive Policy
The cost of the rental includes Third Party Liability, Unlimited mileage within country and VAT. Additional surcharges may apply. Additional products may be purchased.
Refueling Service
All vehicles are supplied with a full tank. As a customer you have a choice of how you pay for fuel:
Option 1 - Prepay Fuel
This option allows the renter to pay for the tank of fuel at the time of rental and return the tank empty. No refunds will be issued for unused fuel.
Option 2 - We Refill
This option allows the renter to pay the rental company at the end of the rental for gas used but not replaced. Missing fuel will be charged at 4.90 EUR per litre.
Option 3 - You Refill
This option allows the renter to return the vehicle with a full tank to avoid extra fuel charges.
Loyalty Availability
Enterprise Plus customers can earn points on qualifying rentals at this location. Redemption of points is not available at this location.
Emerald Club customers can earn credits on qualifying rentals at this location. Redemption of free days is not available at this location. Note: Emerald Club members can earn credits at National and Enterprise brand locations.
A reservation must be booked in advance, and must have the member number attached, in order to earn credit/points.
Forms of Payment
All major credit cards, issued by either American Express, Visa or Mastercard are accepted. All cards presented must be in the renter's name. Debit cards, prepaid cards, cash, checks, Diner's club and Discover cards are not accepted. A security deposit plus the estimated cost of the rental will be taken at the time of rental. The deposit is 1300 EUR for all Alamo rentals and 1100 EUR for all Enterprise or National rentals. If the customer has remained within Estonia for the whole rental period, deposits will be unblocked within 10 days of return providing there is no new damage, the vehicle is returned with a full tank of fuel and there have been no traffic violations or fines received. If the vehicle has left Estonia during the rental it may take up to 30 days to release the deposit due to a delay in traffic fines or violations being processed from the other countries of travel.
Roadside Protection
Roadside Protection is an optional coverage available for selection by the renter. Roadside Protection covers the costs of on-site assistance and towing (if the issue cannot be resolved on-site).
Roadside Protection does not cover misfuelling, replacement vehicle keys, replacement tires or running out of fuel. You must adhere to all rental terms and conditions to receive the benefit of Roadside Assistance Protection.
In cases of rental vehicle mechanical failure through no fault of the renter, Roadside Assistance will be provided at no cost to all renters. This service will include a tow and a replacement vehicle.
Roadside services are available 24 hours a day by calling +372 5166261. For call outs between 1800 – 0900 an out of hours fee of 32 EUR (excl. VAT applies).
Renter Requirements
All drivers, renter and additional drivers, must produce a valid driving license at the time of rental. In addition to a valid driving license, the renter must also produce ID card or passport and a major credit card in his or her own name. Multiple part driving license holders must produce all parts of their license. An international driving permit is required for anyone holding a non-European driving license. Additional ID or further identification checks may be requested if deemed necessary. This may include an identity check with external partners who may check details supplied against databases to which they have access.
Arrival Directions
Rental counter is located inside the Terminal within walking distance on the floor level car rental area. No shuttle is required.
Supplemental Liability Protection
Supplementary Liability Protection - Third Party Liability coveragage limits for third party bodily injury or death is 5,600,000 EUR and for third party property damage, 1,200,000 EUR. There is no specific minimum coverage amount for this insurance policy as ever case is investigated individually.
Theft Protection
Theft Protection (TP) is an optional coverage which reduces the renter's liability to 0 in the event of theft or attempted theft of the rental vehicle. If TP is not included in the reservation, the renter has liability up to the full market value of the vehicle. In order to receive the benefits of TP, a police report must be obtained by the renter and the vehicles keys must be returned to the rental location at your earliest convenience. TP is not insurance.
Tire and Windshield Protection
Tires and Windshield Protection (TWP) is an optional protection available for selection by the renter. TWP provides cover to the tires and windshield of the rental vehicle only. If TWP is purchased, the excess amount is 0 EUR for damages to the tires or windshield. If TWP is not purchased, the customer will be held liable for the full value of damages to the tires or windshield.
