Rental Terms and Conditions apply for all additional drivers. Additional fees are applicable.
After Hours Service
Key return outside of business hours:
If you wish to return the vehicle outside of our business hours, please follow the instructions below:
Proceed to the parking area and park the vehicle at the back of the agency.
Make sure to remove all your personal belongings from the vehicle.
Drop the keys into the key drop box located at the back of the rental counter, under the "Vehicle Returns" sign.
Please note that if you choose to return the vehicle outside of our business hours, you will remain responsible for the vehicle and its condition until it is inspected by a staff member of the Owner. This inspection will take place within 2 hours of the start of the next business day.
Age Requirements
To rent a vehicle, the renter must have held a full driving license for a minimum of 1 year for Mini, Economy and Compact (excl Elite) vehicles; 3 years for Intermediate Standard vehicles (excl Standard Passenger Van) Full size Commercial Van; 7 years for Compact Elite, Full size Premium vehicles, Standard Passenger Van Commercial Box Van. 10 years for Luxury vehicles. The minimum age to rent is 18 years old. All drivers under the age of 25 will be subject to an additional daily charge.
The additional Young Driver charges are:
- 18 to 20 years of age: 55 Euros per day; max. 825 EUR (VAT included)
- 21 to 24 years of age: 33 Euros per day; max. 462 EUR (VAT included)
Cross Border Policy
Cross border travel is not permitted. Rentals can only be driven within the territory of Corsica.
Damage Waiver
Our Standard Damage Waiver Cover (DW) reduces the liability of the renter in the event of damage to or theft of the vehicle.
If DW is not included in the reservation, the renter has full liability for the vehicle but can optionally purchase DW to reduce the applicable excess.
If included in the reservation or purchased, the excess amounts are:
Mini and Economy: 1500 Euros
Compact and Compact SUV: 1800 Euros
Intermediate, Int. SUV, Standard, Standard SUV and Premium SUV: 2000 Euros
Before purchasing DW it is advised to determine, if a personal coverage is adequate to cover damage, theft, loss of revenue, administration fees, diminishment of value, and any towing, storage or impound fees. If DW is declined, the renter will be required to pay these charges and seek compensation through their carrier of personal coverage. DW is not insurance.
Damage Waiver Exclusions/Voids
The damage waiver does not cover: damages to the tires, lost, broken or stolen keys, tracking devices, any optional accessories, any damage caused by the use of unsuitable fuel, failure to take all reasonable steps to take care of the vehicle keys or any other device used to unlock and / or start the vehicle.
Damage coverage will be void if the damage was caused by: use by an unauthorized driver, unlicensed driver's license, use on behalf of others, illegal activity, racing, speed testing, or road tests, driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol, or outside the countries listed on the first page of the contract, overloading the vehicle, towing another vehicle, transporting materials or dangerous substances, use on a non-passable road, reckless or negligent driving, or inside an airport.
One Way Drop Policy
One Way rentals are not available from Figari for any vehicle category. One Way rentals between Corsica, mainland France or any other country are also not allowed.
If the vehicle is not returned to the rental branch it originated from, the applicable drop fees can be up to 2000 EUR plus 2 EUR per kilometer for unauthorized drop-offs in mainland France, counting from the south coast of mainland France.
Refueling Service
If the Renter does not choose to purchase optional fuel at the start of the rental period and does not return the vehicle with the same level of fuel as at the start of the rental period (as stated on the rental agreement) , the Renter will have to pay a fee for the refueling service, calculated from the difference between the fuel level indicated on the rental agreement and the level recorded when the vehicle is returned multiplied by the fuel price displayed as displayed in the rental location. Unused or surplus fuel will not be refunded.
Loyalty Availability
Enterprise Plus customers can earn points on qualifying rentals at this location. Redemption of points is not available at this location.
Emerald Club customers can earn credits on qualifying rentals at this location. Redemption of free days is not available at this location. Note: Emerald Club members can earn credits at National and Enterprise brand locations.
A reservation must be booked in advance, and must have the member number attached, in order to earn credit/points.
Forms of Payment
The major credit cards by Amex, Mastercard and Visa are accepted. Debit cards are also accepted. Cash payments are not permitted for any rental. The deposit for all categories is 600 EUR and is required at the time of rental.
Roadside Protection
When choosing the Roadside Assistance Protection (RAP) as an optional addition, you can waive the financial responsibility for roadside services should you be unlucky enough to get a flat tire (excluding the rim), loose the key or need recovery as a result of a fault caused by renter error.
Please note that RAP does not apply if there is a breach of the rental agreement. Without the addition of RAP, the renter will be required to pay any applicable charges for the required roadside services.
Roadside Protection Exclusions/Voids
Roadside Protection does not cover any damage caused by the use of wrong fuel, any failure to take all reasonable measures to look after the vehicle keys or any other device which unlocks the vehicle and/or enables the vehicle to be started. Roadside Protection will be voided if damage is caused by non authorized driver, person whom has no driving license or does not have the category of vehicle on their license, hire and reward, illegal activity, racing or speed tests or road tests, under the influence of drugs or alcohol, outside the countries listed on page one of the contract, over loading of the vehicle, for pushing or towing another vehicle, using the vehicle not on a public road, transporting dangerous materials or substances, in an imprudent or negligent manor, or within the grounds of an airport.

Supplemental Liability Protection
ATF - Franchisee operator at our Corsica South locations - Porto Vecchio and Figari Airport - Third Party Liability coverage which is included in all rentals provides unlimited cover for bodily injury and or death to third parties and up to 100,000,000.00 EUR for third party property damage.
