Additional Driver
All additional drivers must meet all rental requirements. The main driver must present the original driver's license of any additional drivers if they cannot be present at the rental counter. Additional drivers can be added to the contract at any rental location within the same country and at any time during the rental. An additional driver fee of 36.30 EUR per rental applies.
After Hours Service
After-Hours Pick-up
Currently, pick-ups outside the opening hours are not offered at this location.
After-Hours Return
Vehicles can be returned outside the opening hours of this rental location. Please park the vehicle in a safe and secure designated parking space in the car park on the right hand side of the railway station building. Make sure the vehicle is locked and ensure you have gathered all personal belongings before leaving. Place the keys in the drop box. The drop box is located on the left-hand side of the rental desk inside the main hall of the railway station building. No additional charges apply for returns outside the opening hours. The renter’s responsibility for the vehicle and rental charges end, once an employee inspects the vehicle the next business day. Please note the main railway station building is closed between 23:00 - 06:00 and vehicle return is not possible during these hours.
Age Requirements
The minimum age requirement for all vehicles is 19 except for the full-size van category which requires a minimum age of 21. A young driver fee of 7 EUR per day applies for all renters between the age of 19 and 24. All drivers must have held their license for a minimum of 1 year. Maximum age for all vehicle categories is 75.
Cross Border Policy
Outside of Lithuania, vehicles can be driven in Estonia, Finland, Latvia and Poland only. A cross border fee of 49 EUR (incl. VAT) / per border is applied to Poland and Finland, fee of 38 EUR (incl. VAT) / per border is applied to Latvia and Estonia. In all cases, customers must inform the rental branch of their intention to leave the country with the vehicle and require authorization. Unauthorized cross border travels will result in a breach of contract and incur a penalty charge.
Damage Waiver
Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) reduces the liability of the renter in the event of damage to bodywork, theft or attempted theft of the rental vehicle. If CDW is not included in the reservation, the renter has liability up to the full market value of the vehicle. If not included in the booking, CDW is an optional coverage available for purchase.
If included in the reservation or purchased, the excess amount varies from 600-1250 EUR depending on car class. Excess will be charged every time a vehicle is damaged/stolen.
Before purchasing CDW it is advised to determine, if personal coverage is adequate to cover damage, theft, loss of revenue, administration fees, diminishment of value, and any towing, storage or impound fees. If CDW is declined, the renter will be required to pay these charges and seek compensation through their carrier of personal coverage. CDW is not insurance.
Damage Waiver Exclusions/Voids
Collision Damage Waiver does not cover: Wheel rims, wheel covers, windshield, tires, interior damage, roof damage, undercarriage damage, damages caused by sand, gravel, or other kinds of earth material, damage from riots or civil unrest, damage from dangerous substances, damage caused by the use of the wrong fuel or any failure to take all reasonable measures to look after the vehicle keys or any other device which unlocks the vehicle and/or enables the vehicle to be started.
Collision Damage Waiver will be voided if damage is caused by: failure to secure the vehicle keys, failure to lock the vehicle, unauthorized repairs on the vehicle, use by an unauthorized driver, use by an unlicensed driver, use for hire and reward, use of vehicle for any illegal purpose or deliberately causing injury or damage to property, racing, pacemaking, teaching someone to drive, use whilst under the influence of alcohol or drugs, use of the vehicle outside of the country without our permission, overloaded with more passengers than seatbelts, towing, use off road, transporting dangerous or noxious substances, willful or wanton negligence.
Delivery and Collection
Delivery and Collection fees will apply. Deliveries and Collections are available to Klaipeda City Center Hotels and Klaipeda Old Town during the operating hours of the location. Out of hours deliveries and/or collections are available on request only and require prior conformation from the rental branch. One Way Drop Policy
All rentals where the vehicle is not returned to the same location as it was collected from will be subject to a one-way fee. This one-way fee varies based on car category, location, and pick-up date. The exact amount of the one-way fee will be displayed during the reservation process when entering the dates, the desired route, and car category.
Exclusive Policy
Cost of rental includes time and distance, unlimited kilometers within Lithuania, third party liability, airport fee and all taxes (where applicable).
Refueling Service
Customers can choose from the following options on how to pay for fuel:
Option 1 – Prepay Fuel
This option allows the renter to pay for the tank of fuel at the time of rental and return the tank empty. No refunds will be issued for unused fuel.
Option 2 – We Refill
This option allows the renter to pay at the end of the rental for fuel used but not replaced. The fuel price charged by the branch is 2.50 EUR per litre.
Option 3 – You Refill
This option allows the renter to return the vehicle with a full tank of fuel as received to avoid extra fuel charges.
Loyalty Availability
Enterprise Plus customers can earn points on qualifying rentals at this location. Redemption of points is not available at this location.
Emerald Club customers can earn credits on qualifying rentals at this location. Redemption of free days is not available at this location. Note: Emerald Club members can earn credits at National and Enterprise brand locations.
A reservation must be booked in advance, and must have the member number attached, in order to earn credit/points.
Miscellaneous Policy
Damage to the car will be charged for by the car hire company after it is dropped off - and will incur a Damage Administration fee on top of the amount deducted from the excess. All renters and additional drivers must comply with the approved rules and laws. Upon receiving a notice of a traffic offense or any criminal activity, the Lessor will provide all of the details of renter to the police. Violations are subject to an administration fee for each accident or violation received.
Forms of Payment
All major credit cards, issued by either Mastercard and Visa are accepted. All cards presented must be in the renter's name and the card must be valid for at least 3 months after the rental period. American Express, Diner’s Club, Discover Cards, Prepaid cards, cash and checks are not accepted. A security deposit plus the estimated cost of the rental will be taken at the time of rental. The deposit is 300 EUR for the categories Mini, Economy and Compact, 400 EUR for the categories Intermediate, Compact Wagon, Intermediate Wagon, Compact SUV, 600 EUR for the categories Standard, Standard Wagon, Standard SUV, Intermediate SUV, and 1000 EUR for the categories Full Size Passenger Van. Debit cards are accepted for the payment of rental charges, but the security deposit must be left on a credit card.
Roadside Protection
Roadside Assistance Protection (RAP) is an optional coverage available for selection by the renter. RAP allows the customer to waive financial responsibility for chargeable roadside incidents such as flat battery, tire punctures, lock outs, loss of keys or towing.
Roadside Protection does not cover misfuelling, replacement vehicle keys, replacement tires or running out of fuel. You must adhere to all rental terms and conditions to receive the benefit of Roadside Assistance Protection.
In cases of rental vehicle mechanical failure through no fault of the renter, roadside assistance will be provided at no cost to all renters. This service will include a tow and a replacement vehicle.
Renter Requirements
All drivers must present a fully valid and unexpired driving license. All drivers must have held their license for at least one year at the time of rental. Lead drivers must also present an additional form of photo ID (e.g. passport) along with a valid credit card in their name upon collection of the vehicle. If the driving license is non-European an International Driving Permit is also required. Renters are advised to check whether local authorities require foreign drivers to present an International Driving Permit to avoid the risk of potential fines.
Please note that we reserve the right to request additional ID or conduct further identification checks if needed. This may include an identity check with external partners who may check details supplied against databases to which they have access.

Supplemental Liability Protection
Supplementary Liability Protection SLP - Third Party Liability is included in the rate and provides cover up to Euro 5 000 000 EUR for bodily Injury and-or death to third parties, and up to 1 000 000 EUR for damage to third party property.
Tire and Windshield Protection
Tires and Windshield Protection (TWP) is an optional protection available for selection by the renter. TWP provides cover to the tires and windscreen of the rental vehicle only. If TWP is purchased, the excess amount is 0 EUR for damages to the tires and/or windshield. If TWP is not purchased, the customer will be held liable for the full value of damages to the tires and/or windscreen.
